Springfield Symphony Choir Concert
The Springfield Symphony Choir will once again holding their benefit concert at St. Peter’s. Last year was our first time hosting and it was a wonderful experience for the members and the community. More details to come.
"SPYs" Bake Sale
The church’s youth group will be holding a bake sale. All proceeds will go towards their upcoming trip to the ELCA National Youth Gathering in July.
St. Patrick's Day Bake & Soup Sale
The St. Patrick’s Day Bak and Soup Sale will take place before and after the Sunday service. All proceeds will go towards the Jon Gray Scholarship Fund. If you’d like to bake for this ale, please sign up. Thanks!
Bake Sale
Our Annual Valentine’s Day bake sale will take place before and after the church service.
As an added bonus there will be samples of appetizers that will be the perfect addition to your Super Bowl Sunday.
Pastor Deb's Installation
Please join us on Sunday, February 4 at 4:00 p.m. for the installation of Pastor Deborah Stein. A reception will take place in the fellowship hall immediately afterwards.
New Year's Reception
Let's start off the New Year with a time to get together and reconnect! Outreach is hosting a reception to visit with each other, see some old friends and make some new ones. We can use this opportunity to meet and get to know Pastor Deb and Ed Stein too!
Merry Christmas
St. Peter’s will not have a Christmas service, however, there will be a pre-recorded sermon available on our Facebook page.

Christmas Eve Service
All are invited to join us for a Christmas Eve service at 5:PM as we celebrate the birth of Christ with a lively and spiritual service, with a special “Grinch” message and some goodies for the kids!
4th Sunday Advent Service
When is Christmas Eve, not Christmas Eve?
ANSWER: When it’s the 4th Sunday in Advent!
On December 24 during our regular 9:30AM worship, we will be celebrating the 4th Sunday in Advent, with the scheduled readings and music for Advent.
Giving Tree Gifts Due
Once again this year we are sponsoring two homeless families with gifts for Christmas. Please take a gift tag from the tree which lists items needed/wanted. Return the wrapped gifts with the tag taped to the outside by Sunday, December 17.

Is Christmas a difficult time of year for you? Perhaps you’d find comfort by attending our Blue Christmas Service onThursday, December 14th at 7:00 PM.
All are welcome to this casual service of hope and peace, which will include communion.

Cookie Packing
We are once again making and packing homemade cookies for our shut-ins. We need bakers and packers. Want to help? Look for the "Cookie Packing" sign-in sheet. If you bake, bring your cookies to church Sunday Dec. 10. If you want to pack, just look for Outreach on Sunday, Dec. 10 and THANKS!

PLEASE NOTE: Based on the weather forecast all Trunk or Treat activities will take place inside the church.
Join us for Trunk or Treat from 3:00-5:00 p.m. with treats, games, costumes and activities
Followed by a free meal from 5:00-7:00: Chili, hot dogs, veggies, drinks, chips and cookie bags

Pastor Deb's first day
